I'm running for Student Council Treasurer...
Just kidding. I'm a contestant in the MsHealth 2026 charity-based challenge.
The grand prize for this fun, charity-based contest is $20,000. And you know exactly where I would invest that... right back into this KindEdge.com passion project.
KindEdge is the PROJECT of YOU. It is the anti-guru, anti-inspo, anti-shiny things doable process I built to to unlock the alternate ending to my life, and now yours.
While you are welcome to buy more votes by donating to the Andrew McDonough Foundation for Childhood Cancer, you don't need to. You can VOTE DAILY for FREE. Just pop back in and vote the next day.
The first cut of the multi-phased contest happens on February 5. So WHY NOT give it a go and see what happens.
Here's to you unlocking the alternate ending to your life, today.
Cheers, cin-cin and hugs,
@MarySueIRL
The application for this contest contained three questions. Here are my responses.
What fuels your passion for health and fitness?
My passion for health and fitness is fueled by my awareness that you cannot do all the good you were put here on Earth to do if you are physically unable to move. My father died at 50 and I have similar genetics to him and have overcome further handicaps such as cancer, two autoimmune diseases, migraines and more. I dug deep into research, data, and running hundreds of tests. I am crystal clear on what is worth giving up in order to have a wonderful, active, healthy life. I do this for my sons.
What’s your favorite way to train or stay fit?
For many years I did treadmill running and weight lifting at the gym. But during Covid I purchased a ballet barre for my garage and returned to my old days of dancing ballet, but I added weights to my ankles. I do that every other day. On the alternate days I do hot power yoga which leaves me soaked in sweat and shaking... yet deep into a mindful mode. Once per week I do a one-hour weight routine at the gym and I mix in a 5k run outside often. I walk my dog, Donovan, morning and evenings.
What would you do with $20,000?
I would absolutely use this money to fund my ongoing passion project. KindEdge.com is the set of steps I'm publishing to help other people do what I did - unlock the alternate ending to my life. Decades of guru inspo and self-help books never got to the practical, actionable steps that reveal the hidden barriers to getting big life change in motion, today. The steps I built are the only things that worked in real life. I just want to share them with others before I die. It is my legacy.
