You
Desire a change.
Have a dream
But too many trains have already left the station.
The big changes you desire seem too hard and would risk creating regrets.
Me
I’ve been there. I tried all the guru inspo and every methodology.
I was left inspired but still stuck with too much on my plate.
But life’s minutes were ticking by with my higher purpose still undone.
So I built a set of bite-sized actionable tools that could pile-drive my goals through the muck of a busy life.

This series of crisp, simple steps actually worked in real life.
I call it KindEdge.
It’s not gonna be easy, but it’s gonna be fun.
So, hello and welcome. I look forward to walking side by side with you on this journey.
Hi. I’m Mary.
I’m a writer, vlogger, speaker, corporate communications change management consultant, dog-mom, human-mom, and a bunch of other things … just like you.
I’m not a coach or guru. I am simply a truther. I built this website to document the tools I developed to drive transformational change in my life.
I’d wasted too many dollars and decades investing in experts, books, counselors, coaches, methodologies and retreats that all failed.
I was like - WTF.
I refused to waste more precious minutes without seeing results.
So I channeled my corporate change management skills into the project of me. I broke complex transformation down into a series of clear, crisp, doable, bite-sized tasks. Each step ends with one clear decision and a “hook” to the next step. That chain, unbroken, drives results in real life.
These KindEdge steps worked when all other guru inspo failed.

The Fan Club
A big part of KindEdge is throwing out the idea that what works for others, or what others preach, will work for you.
We begin to live by this one core tenet: do what works in real life.
Because there is no one-size-fits-all for the processes, practices, systems, diets, habits, or regimens that work for you, we’ve assembled this growing list of people and resources that we cheer for. KindEdge is a fan of all these makers of great ideas. And as you experiment, you can let us know of more resources we can add to this Fan Club page.

Just Because You Can Doesn't Mean You Should: How Clarity of Purpose Finds You More Hours in Your Day
Every time I say yes to something I am good at but that is not mine to do, I am saying no to the one thing only I can deliver. In this post, I explain why doing good is not always the best good you can do, how the vast unchoosing protects your secret sauce, and what it looks like to finally get ruthless about whose time you are really spending when you say yes.

Everything Builds: Why Your Failures, False Starts, and Slow Days Are Never Wasted
Some days you get almost nothing done toward your big goal and it feels like a failure. It is not. I have tested this for decades and I can tell you with certainty: everything builds. The 15 minutes you gave it, the intention you carried, the brick you laid even on the worst day, it is all momentum. In this post I explain why the path is never linear and why that is exactly fine.

Stop Making Decisions. Start Iterating: The Mindset Shift That Changes Everything
I stopped making decisions years ago and started iterating instead. Not the same thing. In this post, I explain why locking in slows your learning, why the best information always comes from being in the mud rather than researching from the outside, and how building for iteration gives you the levers of control that big decisions actually require.
