Hello Friends -

This was written by a human. Not AI.

This is me sharing words from my brain, in my own quirky way, with you, just as if we were sitting together chewing the cud and spilling some tea.

Thanks for being here.

Here is a video that gives an easy explanation of KindEdge Step 1 to get you in motion to make your desire, passion, dream, new life, new career, new project, new business, or new environment a reality. The written description and hands-on worksheet can be found on the KindEdge website under Step 1, here.

Watch the video and take action right here, right now, to complete the first and easy step. Train your body and your mind to treat the project of you as urgent and important every day.

I've offered a few notes on my own progress at the bottom of this blog. Please stay in touch. Share comments, requests, feedback or questions. Cheers, cin-cin and hugs. - MarySueIRL

Post Script: Oh the places you'll go!

KindEdge Dog Park

As loyal readers will know, I'm in the denouement of a tale of two hurricanes. Hurricane Helene flooded my home and Hurricane Milton just kind of flipped me the bird. Either way, my entire town is suffering a bit of a hurricane hangover. It is now October 17. Since September 25, my dog and I have been in more than 8 hotels. I'm a health fiend as I manage quite a few ongoing health challenges. My supplements and vitamins are critical (MTHFR gene allele requires special B vitamins and many other related supplements), I take special magnesium and other items for migraine prevention, and my multiple autoimmune challenges require more detailed nutrition. So the items I need with me daily, as well as needs for my dog, as well as basics for clothing and exercise, are a lot to move in to and out of a hotel! And it's a magic trick to get it all into my small car. Nevertheless, I'm grateful to be able to find places that enable me recover from the confusing, messy vortex that is my house and the daily work it requires.

How Do You Stay on Track With a Big Goal When Real Life Keeps Blowing Up Your Plan?

I built the perfect plan on January first. Then real life happened — one task ballooned into a months-long rabbit hole, the gym bag collected dust, and I kept labeling myself a failure for not hitting deadlines I never should have set. In this post, I share why the perfect plan is the problem, how to build a system that actually survives the long game, and why your time crunch is the best diagnostic signal you have.

What Is the Difference Between Escaping Your Life and Actually Changing It?

I spent twenty years confusing escape with action. A retreat, a spa week, a rah-rah conference all served a purpose, but none of them were the how. In this post, I explain the difference between the what and the how in big life change, why inspiration evaporates on Monday, what the gap assessment actually does, and what the word KindEdge literally means.
